Our Mission Statement
Prairie Spirit United Church is an inclusive community of faith, walking the path of Jesus as we worship God. We do this by engaging with our community, by offering our gifts to aid where we can, and by telling our faith stories to all generations.

Back to Church Sunday – September 28 10:30 am
Mark your calendars! Sunday, September 28th is Back to Church Sunday here at Prairie Spirit. We’ll be celebrating the anniversary of our amalgamation, dedicating the beautiful new entryway mural, and kicking off our “You Are Welcome at the Table” display. Lunch to follow!
This is a wonderful Sunday to invite a friend, neighbour, or family member to worship with you. Remember those postcards you received last week? They’re not fridge decorations—they’re invitations! Please prayerfully consider who you can share yours with this week.
Let’s come together in gratitude, celebration, and welcome as we step into this new season of ministry.

Joint Anniversary Worship, October 5th 6:30 pm
A reminder that there will be no morning worship on Sunday, October 5th. Instead, we will gather for a special joint evening service at Prairie Spirit United Church at 6:30 pm.
Together with our friends from McClure United, Crestview United, St. Charles Headingley United, and Rosser Grosse Isle United, we will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of The United Church of Canada.
We are delighted to welcome guest musicians Sean Taubner on cello and Charmaine Bacon on organ to help lift our worship in song and praise.
Please plan to join us for this joyful evening of worship, fellowship, and refreshments. Let’s come together to mark this milestone in the life of our church and community of faith!

Introducing 2nd Sundays!
Have you noticed the “Discipleship Moment” in worship each week—those little ways we learn and grow together as disciples of Jesus? Well, the 2nd Sunday of every month is now especially dedicated to children and young people, led by Darlene. (This was once called “The Child in All of Us.”)
While Young People’s Church runs every Sunday, these 2nd Sundays include something extra – moments designed with our youngest disciples in mind, and for all who are young at heart.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring your kids, grandkids, or to invite a neighbour or friend with children.
Remember… 2nd Sundays!
Upcoming dates: October 12, November 9, December 14
