Worship Service – May 31, 2020

This Sunday: Pentecost – the rush of wind and fire and no destruction! It was a day of celebration and chaos and confusion. Can you be drunk at 9:00 in the morning and still be wise? Can you learn languages in an instant? What happened that day? What happens today when you encounter the Spirit? Can words explain it or is it just a stunning, warm feeling? Let’s talk about it.
Readings: Acts 2:1-21; Psalm 104: 24-34, 35b

This Sunday, we will celebrate the sacrament of communion. For that you need to be prepared with something to eat (bread or a cracker work fine) and something to drink (juice, water, milk, or tea will all be appropriate, even wine.)
