The Worship Committee offers you a different kind of Lenten journey this year. Bishop Neville Boundy, playwright, says that he is mainly concerned with exploring how the humanity of the Son – while without sin – necessarily involves doubt, uncertainty, fear, mistakes, weariness and the possibility of failure. It is written as a radio play or for two people to read from lecterns. Like medieval passion plays, it contains a number of humorous and imagined incidents as the author follows the biblical example of exploring divine truths through storytelling. Each week, portions of the play will be read as part of the worship service, and then a discussion will follow. The Question Box is also available for comments related to the play.
